چکیده
Sweet sorghum (Sorghum bicolor var. saccharatum (L.) Mohlenbr.) is a variety of developed for the harvest sweet juice, rather than grain. It has been identified as potential ethanol feedstock crop rainfed areas in different parts world. promising source bioenergy due to its high biomass, drought tolerance and low input. This study was conducted determine bioethanol production from varieties under Çukurova conditions with Mediterranean climate. Experiments were over two years 2016 2017 on experimental fields Eastern Agricultural Research Institute Adana province between June October randomized blocks design four replications. Harvest performed at dough stage panicle grains. Based two-year data, an average days values varied 98.6 134.4 days, plant height 233.2 429.3 cm, stalk diameters 22.26 26.55 mm, yields 69.0 182.6 t ha-1, juice 22.98 62.74 m3 recoveries 26.79% 39.94%, brix 12.55% 20.0% theoretical 2020 5302 L ha-1. Grass1, M81E, Roma, Theis, UNL Hybrid#3 No91 genotypes had 150 ha-1 4500 thus they superior other yields. Present findings revealed that region quite suitable maximum sorghum.

The consumption of bioethanol as biofule may reduce greenhouse gases, gasoline imports. Also it can be replaced with lead or MTBE (Methyl tert-butyl ether) that are air and underground water pollutants, respectively. Plants are the best choice for meeting the projected bioethanol demands. For this scope, a comparative analysis of the technological options using different feedstocks should be pe...

Effect of Harvesting Stage on Sweet Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.) Genotypes in Western Kenya
Harvesting stage of sweet sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) cane is an important aspect in the content of sugar for production of industrial alcohol. Four sweet sorghum genotypes were evaluated for harvesting stage in a randomized complete block design. In order to determine sorghum harvest growth stage for bioethanol production, sorghum canes were harvested at intervals of seven days after a...
